| NY False Arrest Lawyer Files Action On Behalf of James B. Dryden, JrMichael J. Redenburg Filed A Complaint Against the City of New York Alleging that the NYPD Falsely Arrested Mr. Dryden on Two Separate Occasions
Allegations within the Complaint: The 1st Incident On July 21, 2012, Mr. Dryden was lawfully present at 304 Herkimer Street, Brooklyn, NY, where he was acting in his capacity as a property manager. NYPD agents arrested him and charged him with criminal trespass and attempted burglary. The charges levied against Mr. Dryden were false and the criminal case was eventually dismissed. The 2nd Incident On September 11, 2012, Mr. Dryden was lawfully present at 304 Herkimer Street, Brooklyn, NY, where he was acting in his capacity as a property manager. NYPD agents arrested him and charged him with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree and Consumption of Alcohol on the Streets. These charges were false. At arraignment, Mr. Dryden was unable to post bail in the amount of $1,000 and spent 133 days at Riker's Island. Following a bench trial, Mr. Dryden was acquitted.
