Heavy Duty Garage Plans Now Available At Behm Design

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - Jan. 8, 2014 - PRLog -- Heavy Duty Garage Plans by Behm Design have been designed with greater structural capacity than ordinary garages. You can drive in bigger, heavier vehicles and equipment, use heavier wall storage and equipment and work on bigger projects. Here are the features:

- 2 x 6 @ 16" o.c. wall framing, instead of typical 2 x 4s used in standard garages

- 10 ft. framed wall height, instead of the typical 8 ft.

- 6 in. thick concrete slab floor with rebar for extra floor capacity, (as alternate to the 4" slab indicated)

- 8 ft. high, extra wide garage doors for better access

- up to 70 lbs/sq. ft. snow load capacity - trusses or rafters spaced at 16" o.c., instead of the typical 24".

- write in options for depth dimension and alternate roof slope
