About the Author:
Ryan King was born in Calgary, Alberta. Not being raised in a Christian home, he accepted Christ as his Saviour at the age of sixteen. Ryan earned a master of arts from Heritage Baptist Seminary. During and shortly after his schooling, he worked at a rescue mission, specializing in inner-city youth, and was also a pastoral assistant for two churches in Indiana.  He is currently the senior pastor at Bethel Baptist Church in Westville, Nova Scotia. Ryan and his wife, Jacinda, have been married since 2003 and they have three children: Nathanael, Jacob, and Karis.
