Meet Yoolod – The First Point-of-view Interactive Service

LONDON - Dec. 17, 2013 - PRLog -- Yoolod, the world’s first point-of-view interactive HD video service for online gaming and social interaction, was launched today in London. It is the first Internet service of its kind which enables users to control their chosen live avatars in order to participate in a variety of games, social and other events or exploring places worldwide. Yoolod’s Avatars are equipped with an HD POV camera mounted at their eye level which makes you see exactly what they see, and a headphone which allows you to voice-control their actions. Avatars could be anyone; People playing poker, street performers, people at parties, in business meetings, etc.

First game offered by Yoolod is a Texas Hold’em Poker and it provides users with a real person (Avatar) controlled by the user’s microphone. This real time experience gives users an opportunity to control their live player that is sitting at the poker table playing by their commands. The poker table has a maximum of seven players playing at the same time and the eighth person, a croupier. Since users can see the entire game process and activities on the table, they are at all times secure that all processes are correct and that there is no possibility of manipulation. Money used for poker playing is called Yoolars with a conversion rate towards a USD of 1/10.

Yoolod is going to introduce new events shortly, some of which are even going to be completely free. Voyeur mode will also be introduced to applicable events soon, so that users can only watch what an Avatar is doing under someone else’s control.
