LOS ANGELES - Dec. 16, 2013 - PRLog -- ICP DAS USA, Inc. introducesCAN-2018C (http://www.icpdas-usa.com/can_2018c.html), a CANopen slave module that follows the DS-301 implementation version 4.02 and DSP-401 device profile version 2.1. With 8 thermocouple inputs, you can access the temperature input status and set configurations using standard CANopen protocol. You can use it with standard CANopen masters with the EDS file.

Rotary switches are provided for configuration of node ID and baud rates.  CAN-2018C can be used with WinPAC Programmable Automation Controllers with I-8123W (http://www.icpdas-usa.com/i_8123w.html?r=maria) CAN I/O cartridges, PC’s with PEX-CAN200i-T (http://www.icpdas-usa.com/pex_can200i_t.html?r=maria) communication boards, or PLC’s with CAN converters (http://www.icpdas-usa.com/can_communication_converters.html?r=maria).  CAN-2018C also allows for PDO Mapping, emergency message, individual channel configuration, open thermocouple detection, as well as over voltage protection.
