Stop Should-ing All Over Yourself

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Dec. 17, 2013 - PRLog -- New Years is around the corner, and many of us will start the New Year with old goals. Radio host and author Karyn Beach has the solution, either “Get rid of them or get them done.”

Karyn has created a five-step process called The Golden Goals Method. Originally offered as a live workshop, then as a teleseminar and now as a downloadable hour-long program, participants have had success with the Golden Goals Method.

In Step Three, Karyn asks the goal-setter to Stop Shoulding on themselves! This is the step that turns the most heads, and the step that answers the question on why you haven’t achieved your goal yet. Karyn says, “Goals that are on your list because you think they should be there and not because you want them there are Should Goals … and no one accomplishes a Should Goal!” A Golden Goal is the opposite of a Should Goal; it is a goal that motivates and excites you.

The Golden Goals Method guides the participant through a process that takes just under an hour and helps them create up to three Golden Goals and a comprehensive plan for achieving each one.

“For success, you need more than a goal and a list of to-dos. You need people to support you and a Plan B for when you fall off track.” Karyn isn’t being a pessimist when she talks about falling off track. She is speaking as a realist. “Anyone who has had success has also had setbacks. They are part of the process. The problem isn’t falling off track. The problem is not getting back on track.”
