Edentech re-launches Healthcare Tech News site (healthcaretechnews.com)

SPRINGFIELD, Pa. - Dec. 5, 2013 - PRLog -- Edentech is pleased to announce the re-launch of the Healthcare Tech News website.  Originally launched almost two years ago, the site has seen steady growth and expanded its coverage beyond just long-term care technology news into areas such as EHR, HL7, Nursing, and several other healthcare-specific technology domains.

With the new design, Edentech hopes to bring in more real-time news by mixing organic content from Edentech's blog in with third-party news sources.

Matt Mondok, Edentech's Chief Architect, explained that the new site works by reading content from different feeds and aggregating it intelligently into a newspaper format.  "Before, we had to manually add content throughout the day and it was easy to miss something.  With the new design, we're consistently pulling in new content not just from our own sources but from others as well."

Currently, Health Care Tech News features 10 to 20 new articles per day.  Mondok explained how they plan to expand the site.  "We're planning to add features to enhance readability and further integrate with our other properties such as Foodrecalls.net," he said.

The next major update is planned for February 2014.
