Stuck Chasing Money? “Hurry up and get in now or else you are going to miss out!” or “With this being brand new and your timing being truly dead on, you don’t want to miss being a part of the next legend!” Does any of this sound familiar? It’s a sad fact because in the Network Marketing Industry this happens more and more everyday. Is their some truth to it? Maybe a little and I will explain. Before I do I need to make it clear that I have created a 6 Figure income in Network Marketing over and over again and I have done 90% of it all online. This is what we teach our team if they like to learn it. Yes 6 figures isn’t much but when you take in consideration that over 91,000,000 are currently in a Direct Selling Business of some sort. Less than .1% earn more than $400 or more per month. 73% of these people don’t even see a commission check by the end of their first year! I might not make 200k/month yet but I am in the less than .1% crew who make more than $400/mo in this industry. One Of The Biggest Issues…The Binary If you heard those statements above and the comp plan is a binary or a binary with a unilevel on the back end, pay close attention. Binaries are good comp plans. The reason for that is most, I said most of the time people only build the outside legs and it creates major sill over and you end up only having to build one leg. That makes things a lot easier than building two right? The problem with this is you WILL have a leg that goes nuts if you are placed right. When this happens you are working your other team trying to catch up and make a paycheck. Well guess what, your team on that power leg is doing the same thing. What if they get their 2 people and for 3 months cant get anyone else? How much money are they making off that big leg now? How long until they tell people it don’t work? I’m not bashing a binary just stating some facts. If your team can not make money or the average person can’t make money then you have a problem. What about the comp plans that have a binary on the front and a uni-level on the back-end? This looks amazing and is for major leaders to a point. With this concept most of the time the volume of the first 2 orders from your reps and your customers will go through the Binary and NOT uni-level. 3rd order and after will transfer over to the uni-level. In this case most of the uni-levels pay out like 30-35% with a max of 5% per level and most only go 8 to 9 levels deep. Here is the challenge, if your products are not as great as you say then by the time these volume points get over the the uni-level it’s a good possibility that your customer already cancelled. Now what if this customer or rep was not on your binary pay leg and was on your strong side? Guess how much money you made off that person? Not a fun business anymore! When we look at a uni-level pay out we want between 5%-10% on each level and an infinity bonus of 1% or more! One more challenge on this type of comp plan that has come up a lot is the spill over. See in a true uni-level if I were to say to you “Hey John, I have a guy I’m going to place on your team you should probably get after it and get a couple others” this would be great because when I place this person under john he will make a commission off all customers and rep orders that come in. Yes he has to be qualified for the levels if its that deep but he still makes money. What if it were this type of binary? Well we already know it’s going to be placed on the power leg so how much money will he make? It all depends on his weak leg or pay leg as it’s called . Plus in the uni-level part of this Hybrid comp plan John sees no income from the uni-level part from this guys efforts I placed under him and nor does it help with rank! WHOA!!!!
