CUE Financial Group Advisor Jeff Murphy Selected as a 2014 Five Star Wealth Manager by L.A. Magazine

LOS ANGELES - Dec. 6, 2013 - PRLog -- Five Star Professional has named Jeff Murphy of Woodland Hills as a 2014 Los Angeles Five Star Wealth Manager award recipient.  The award winners appear in a special section in the January issue of Los Angeles magazine.

Five Star Professional partnered with Los Angeles magazine to find wealth managers who satisfy 10 objective eligibility and evaluation criteria that are associated with wealth managers who provide quality services to their clients. The 2014 Five Star Wealth Managers are a select group, representing less than 2 percent of the wealth managers in the Los Angeles area.

The Five Star program is the largest and most widely published financial services award program in North America.  Award candidates are identified by one of three sources: firm nomination, peer nomination or pre-qualification based on industry standing. Self-nominations are not accepted and wealth managers do not pay a fee to be considered or placed on the final list. Candidates are evaluated on one-year and five-year client retention rates, client assets administered, client households served, and a favorable regulatory and complaint history among other criteria.

Murphy, with 20 years in the industry, is an Investment Advisor Representative (IAR) of CUE Financial Group, Inc., joining CUE in 1995, and holds a bachelor’s degree in finance.  Prior to his financial services career, he served in the US Air Force from 1986-’92 rising to the rank of Captain as a B-52 instructor radar navigator.
