LAUSANNE, Switzerland - Nov. 27, 2013 - PRLog -- FAMAT Engineered Valves is proud to announce the launch of its own brand of high quality Cast Steel Gate, Globe and Check valves (ranging from #150-2500 and sizes 2” – 48”). With almost 40 years of experience in supplying valves to the Power Generation and Oil & Gas industry, FAMAT has upgraded existing designs with special features in order to meet the most demanding applications on the market.

Famat Valves are available in all commonly used materials and trim options.

Design features:

- Bolted bonnet (150#-600#) or Pressure Sealed (900#-2500#) design

- All Valves are designed to meet the requirements of BS & ISO

- All Valves in conformance to API 600 and ANSI B16.34

- Face to Face dimensions  to BS EN 558, ANSI B16.10 and ISO 5752.

- Flanges and BW Ends in conformance to ANSI B16.25.

- Valve testing to API 598, API 6d and BS EN 12266-1

Special features:

- Extra-long tread engagement between yoke nut and stem providing long thread life.

- High Pressure and large size valves (>12”) with roll bearing yokes.

- Valves can be field upgraded on site with “Sealing water connection”

- Seats can be welded in or screwed in (replaceable)

- The use of flexible wedge minimizes operating torque allowing very low wear on seats and wedge.


-  All valves are equipped with a lubrication plug for the stem.
