The Importance of Native Speaking Hotel Software for Better Staff Performance

The hotel management system Clock Sky is now available in six different languages. The employees in many accommodation facilities that have chosen the hotel software, are already able to work in their native language as the systems is provided in Spanish, French, Italian, Russian, Bulgarian and of course, English. According to Clock Software representatives, using a software in a foreign language distracts the employees and hinders them from exploiting their best capabilities. This is why the company keeps working on further translations and will introduce even more language options soon.

“Because flexibility and usability are our main focus and the essence of Clock Sky, we decided to provide a professional translation of the hotel management system in a variety of languages,” says Vyara Markova, online marketing director at Clock Software. “Though hospitality professionals traditionally speak one or few foreign languages, it is always more convenient and productive to work in your own. Besides all the software customisation opportunities available in Clock Sky, this one we consider very important and believe that it will help our customers feel most comfortable and at ease while working with the system.”

The developers of Clock Sky opted for human-made translations instead of plugging in an automated translator service. “We know that we could add unlimited number of languages the other way, but the quality of translation would be poor and we do not want to compromise with the quality of any feature in our hotel software” says Markova. The language versions are added to the basic software functionality and are available for all customers at no supplementary charge. What is more, each user can set their preferred language in their personal account, which means that the manager and the frontdesk officer can even work on the same device and still use the hotel software in different languages.
