taste Canowindra the Country Restaurant Launches New Website

Nov. 24, 2013 - PRLog -- Designed with improved functionality and a great new look and feel, the site is also a better reflection of the restaurant, showcasing the business’s core offerings of wine, music, art and of course food.

Based in the NSW’s central west, the restaurant operates a bottle shop and the website allows visitors to order products online and have them home delivered. People can reserve a table and book live music shows with the click of the button on the new site, which packs in much more information and makes it easier for customers to find out about events.


The website was launched earlier this month and owner Bob Craven reports that feedback has been very positive in the early going.

‘People seem to be responding to the new site - we’ve already had quite a few online sales and it give us a great profile on the net,’ he says, ‘visually it’s a huge improvement.’

The restaurant is seen as a must-visit for tourists in the area and one of the town main attractions, so having a prominent standing online has been very important.

‘People certainly find out about us online, but a lot of our customers are locals - the good folk from around Canowindra.’

With basically every show selling out months before the date, it seems that the regulars are always up for a night of great food and good fun. Some big names in Australian music have swung by the popular restaurant entertaining the locals and passersby. The history section of the website lets people relive old shows with information and images available, scanning through it we see the likes of Fred Smith, Nerida Cuddy and Jigzag having rocked the venue.

‘We’ve definitely been blessed to have some fantastic acts come over, let’s just hope it continues into 2014!’ says Bob.
