ScottishPower implements Enterprise Study’s leading training administration system

CHELTENHAM, U.K. - Nov. 20, 2013 - PRLog -- With system implementation well underway, Enterprise Study is set to be fully live by the end of February 2014, enabling ScottishPower to administrate training of external contractors to support its achievements of skilling up, facilitating assessment, and awarding authorisations to work in certain restricted areas.

Prior to Enterprise Study, ScottishPower used a system which has now reached the end of its useful life. Although this system served the energy company sufficiently in terms of booking delegates onto training courses, the ScottishPower Training team had to supplement its operation with manual processes. Seeking improvements, ScottishPower initiated an invitation to tender in order to source a system that would support the organisation in its forecasted expansion of external training. Colin Cruickshank, Project Manager at ScottishPower explains their requirements: “We required an off-the-shelf functionally rich training administration system which was value for money, simple to use and had the ability to interface with our other systems and processes. The vendor we chose had to be strategic in line with our future plans, for example Enterprise Study offered further Modules such as eLearning and Compliance Management.”

A number of familiarisation sessions have been delivered to the contractor organisations who are particularly impressed with the ease of use the new system provides.

Enterprise Study offers a comprehensive and rich reporting suite that also enables reports to be easily downloaded and automatically scheduled for running.  The detailed profit and loss feature helps keep track of all financial transactions which are supported by a comprehensive audit, so that at any time you can identify who has done what. As well as providing the Assessment Manager Module the platform has a very comprehensive event evaluation tool.
