BIA Updates TotalDiscovery Legal Hold and Custodian Questionnaire Features

The update combines two popular features in the application, Legal Hold and Custodian Questionnaires. The two features were previously independent, but now users can use the features in tandem and save time.

Legal Hold notification is a critical piece of the eDiscovery workflow and is recognized as a best practice for every company that faces litigation. Firms who do not send legal hold notices to employees face signification sanctions from the courts for spoliation, and TotalDiscovery’s Legal Hold feature makes managing the legal hold process as easy as possible, while ensuring firm’s compliance.

TotalDiscovery’s Custodian Questionnaire functionality is aimed at helping a company’s eDiscovery team understand more about what types of data they could potentially be dealing with, and where the custodian would have stored it. An eDiscovery team with this information in hand is better prepared to more efficiently manage the data collection process should they need to.

This update to TotalDiscovery is available now for all users and can be accessed on the first Legal Hold tab of their TotalDiscovery dashboard.
