OTR Wheel Engineering Announces the Appointment of a New CEO

ROME, Ga. - Nov. 8, 2013 - PRLog -- ROME, GA – November 8, 2013 – OTR Wheel Engineering, Inc., a worldwide manufacturer specializing in off-the-road tires, wheels, mounted tire/wheel assemblies and rubber tracks, is pleased to announce Phillip Ford as its new CEO. Phillip has assumed his new position as of Monday, November 4, 2013.

Mr. Ford obtained his Industrial Engineering degree from the University of Alabama and an MBA from Georgia State University. He brings to OTR over 25 years of professional managerial experience in a variety of industries. Most recently, Phillip served as President of Capacity of Texas. In that position, Phillip helped the 2^nd largest manufacturer of Terminal Tractors in the world further its business interests and capitalize on both new and existing markets.

Mr. Ford looks to continue OTR’s considerable success by bringing the same strategic acuity and innovative mindset he has used to foster success in the past. Phillip says, “I am excited to join OTR and to help further Mr. Taylor’s noteworthy accomplishment in growing OTR into a multinational company with a rich history, great products, and great customer service.
