By: The Nouveau Image After an extravagant opening party at Del Frisco’s Thursday October 17th, the festival was off to a great start. The Nouveau Image also set up an amazing VIP lounge in the private event space of Prime Stache. Located conveniently on Chestnut Street in Olde City, Film Festival members were able to enjoy complimentary food and drinks from donations by Bacardi, Wawa, Dock Street Brewery, Honest Tea, UTZ chips, Pretzel Crisps, Vita Coco and many more! The elaborate closing party that The Nouveau Image planned was held at R2L, where guests and staff gathered together to celebrate the overall success of the festival. Guests enjoyed drinks from Grey Goose and Honest Tea, they took photos in booths by CoolPix and danced all night by music by DJ A-Run. Other major highlights from the Festival was an “Rising Star” award ceremony at the VIP lounge where actress Kerry Bische was honored before the screening of “Blue Highway”, one of the two movies she was featured in, at the festival. As well as another great y6 warty at DIVE VFX, the party was held to celebrate all films featured in the festival filmed in Philadelphia. When planning, The Nouveau Image stuck to the “Philadelphia” Not only did The Nouveau Image set up and plan all the events, but they also facilitated the Philadelphia Film Festival going green. From biodegradable cups to recyclable tissue paper in the VIP gift bags, the festival proudly remained eco-friendly through all 11 days. As the first time taking the role as event planners for the festival, The Nouveau Image was more than delighted to work with the Philadelphia Film Society for planning the events.
