F.I.R.S.T. Institute Adds New Equipment to Film & Video Production Program

ORLANDO, Fla. - Oct. 30, 2013 - PRLog -- ACCET-accredited digital media institute, F.I.R.S.T. Institute (Florida Institute of Recording, Sound, and Technology), announces addition of new equipment for use in the Film & Video Program.

Equipment list includes Small HD Monitor, Pro-X Battery and Carrier, LPT Barn Doors, LPT Follow Focus, A-Box,    Wooden Camera Quick Kit (BMC,Pro), and a Black Magic Cinema Camera.

The Small HD Monitor AC7-OLED-SDI is used for on set monitoring from the camera. It is a HD display, it has many features, such as zebra lines, grid lines, and focus assistance. The XP-L95 Battery and V-Mount plate give continuous power to the camera. The batteries have an LED power indicator, and we added a Charger for two. LPT Barn Doors, the Lanparte Matte Box is used on high quality cameras, to black out alot of excess sun or glares. The Lanparte Follow Focus is used to focus lenses to either follow a subject or set a focus. This follow focus comes with rings and gears. The A- box from Wooden Camera is an XLR to 1/4in. Adapter for a rod. It allows us to connect mics or anything XLR to the Camera. The Wooden Camera Quick Kit (BMC, Pro)allows use to quickly attach and take off the camera and still have the mobility of hand held. It also comes with the battery mounting plate, and rods for mounting gear. The BMCC/Black Magic Cinema Camer is a studio and film camera that records in 2.5k RAW format. It also records in ProRes and DNxD formats. It takes lenses and SSD cards.
