Kleinfelder Names Mark Connelly as VP and Senior Water Resources Program Manager

STOCKTON, Calif. - Oct. 24, 2013 - PRLog -- STOCKTON, California – Mark Connelly has been named vice president and senior water resources program manager in the Stockton, California office of Kleinfelder, a global architecture, engineering, and science consulting firm.

Connelly brings more than 27 years of federal, local and private sector experience in facilities, engineering, construction, and program and project management. He has expertise in developing and managing large, complex engineering programs and safety systems using a collaborative and results oriented approach to expand and deepen the Sacramento region's water resource work.

Prior to joining Kleinfelder, Connelly served more than 22 years in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), where he was the Deputy District Engineer/Commander, Acting District Engineer/Commander for the Sacramento District, and the Deputy Division Engineer/Commander for the South Pacific Division.  Following USACE, he served as an engineering services manager and floodplain administrator for San Joaquin County Public Works, where the Flood Management Association (FMA (http://www.floodplain.org/)) selected him as the 2010 “Floodplain Manager of the Year”.
