Novela Law Assists Montachem International, Inc. In Closing $50 Million Credit Facility

MIAMI - Oct. 24, 2013 - PRLog -- The Miami law firm, Novela Law, specializing in complex domestic and international business transactions, represented Montachem International, Inc., a Texas corporation, in negotiating and closing a $50 Million domestic and Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) credit facility with PNC Bank.

A Texas based business;with international headquarters in Weston, Florida, Montachem is a $350 Million in sales, international distributor of plastic resins with clients worldwide. Jerry Murcia, CEO of Montachem International, sought out Novela Law’s expertise negotiating and closing the PNC Credit Facility.  Daniel Novela, a partner at Novela Law, worked on closing the Credit Facility over a one month period.

Daniel Novela worked with Montachem, its Texas counel, and its lenders to improve the terms of an existing $40 Million credit facility. During the last three years we have represented Montachem in its initially credit agreement with PNC and in amending its credit agreements three times. Originally from $20 Million, to $30 Million, to $40 Million and now $50 Million. The commercial credit environment remains constrained, which makes the closing of any financing difficult. The improvements in this credit facility will allow my client to continue its impressive international growth trend, acquire real estate, and increase its financing and liquidity options.
