By: Sine Dubio/Business Lines
In the UK, Artist J.A.C. (a.k.a. *Joseph Connor) has been at the forefront of inspiring this new art medium and will be running workshops and exhibiting this new phenomenon at the Sine Dubio Art Festival, ‘Artober’ at the Low Wood Bay Resort Hotel between the 28th October and the 3rd November
“It’s difficult to see myself as others do” said Joseph “People see me as an artist, with a love of the outdoors” he continued “I see myself as a walker with a painting problem!”
Joseph’s workshops and images will also be on display at an Exhibition at the V&A in London in March 2014 and the ’Artober’ festival in Cumbria is an opportunity for all budding artists and iPad users to learn and experience this amazing medium first. Some of his original iPad works have also been produced on canvas and will be on sale exclusively at the Festival and at the new Sine Dubio Art Gallery, *The Loovre in Kirkby Lonsdale
“Breaking down the barriers that surround the art world” added Sophia Newton, Art Director for Sine Dubio “and enabling people to engage with art and artists in a truly unique way is an objective of the Festival & Company. We aim to make the Artober Festival the foremost annual art event for the area”
‘Artober’ will have an increased running time from two days to a full week 28th October -3rd November. The Event is free to enter and Low Wood Bay Resort Hotel will once more host this unique Art Festival.
