The Autism Society of Colorado Raised $170,000 at its Hope Gala - Faces of Autism on October 12

DENVER - Oct. 15, 2013 - PRLog -- The organization was exceeding pleased with the support as it more than doubled its fundraising from the previous year. “We were joined by more than 300 friends, corporate sponsors, families and business leaders who came together to raise awareness and funds to help those impacted by autism,” notes James Buckles, CEO, the Autism Society of Colorado.  “Autism is a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects 1 in 88 children nationally, and 1 in 85 in Colorado. It is a diagnosis that affects the whole family and the entire community.”

All proceeds from this year’s Fund a Mission will be directed toward improving the lives of all affected by autism.
