Fine Art in the Park at Flagler Fine Art Festivals

PALM COAST, Fla. - Oct. 15, 2013 - PRLog -- Flagler Fine Art Festivals return with the second installment in their fall session festival series on Sunday, October 20th from 10am to 4pm at Veterans Park in Flagler Beach.

In addition to the exceptional work of the festivals' featured full-session artists, an ever-changing and expanding selection of juried fine art by Florida artists, art galleries, arts organizations and education programs will be available to enjoy and purchase.

Festival attendees are encouraged to choose their favorite individual artist and vote in the monthly festival artist contest until 3pm. Votes will be tallied and the winner announced at 3:30. Gift certificates to local restaurants and other incentives are available at the festival information booth for festival art purchases over $50 (subject to availability), as a thank you to patrons for supporting the arts.

On the festival's performing arts stage, artist BJ Royster will be giving a painting demonstration from 11-12, followed by stage magic by Magic Mondo, belly dance from Sacred Spirit of Dance Express Productions, and a live jazz set by the Joy Paris Duo. Children's craft activities will be sponsored by Flagler Palm Coast High School, rounding out a delightful interactive arts experience.

Artist applications for the November 17th Flagler Fine Art Festival are now being accepted--all Florida Fine Artists are encouraged to apply. Entries for the first annual Assemblage Art Challenge to be held at the November 17th festival are open to all artists, regardless of state residency.
