ShoreTel’s validation underlines that Tesira delivers the interoperability business needs
By: Biamp Systems

BEAVERTON, Ore. - Oct. 11, 2013 - PRLog -- As a leading provider of innovative, networked media systems, Biamp Systems has completed validation with ShoreTel’s Unified Communications solution for the Tesira SVC-2 Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) server card.

Tesira is an enterprise-wide digital signal processor (DSP)-based networked media system that uses Audio Video Bridging (AVB) as the primary digital media transport. It is equipped with modular scalable inputs and outputs, DSPs and networked end-points, providing system design capabilities for unlimited scenarios, including centralized, distributed and hybrid type applications. The SVC-2 VoIP card allows a Tesira system to connect directly to IP-based telephone systems. When used in conjunction with Automatic Echo Cancellation (AEC) processing, Tesira becomes an extraordinarily powerful, flexible, and affordable conferencing platform.

As a member of ShoreTel’s Innovation Network, Tesira’s SVC-2 VoIP card is ensured to deliver interoperability with ShoreTel’s Unified Communications (UC) solution.

“I’m very pleased that Biamp has earned ShoreTel certification,” said Biamp Systems president and CEO, Steve Metzger.  “Our customers can be confident that Tesira installations will integrate well with ShoreTel VoIP systems, and that Biamp will continue its work of developing solid and reliable VoIP interfaces in its conferencing products.”
