4th Annual Barbeque, Brews & Bluegrass Fundraiser There will be a lot to see and a lot to do at this family-friendly event. Barbeque and brews will be available from Smokin’ Pig BBQ and Kona Ice, with The Jimmy Wolling Bluegrass Band and Connellis providing foot-stomping music. There will be a wide array of activities for the whole family to enjoy, including face painting, bouncy houses, a rock wall, a dunking booth, and much more. Lyn Bonham Photography and Ella’s will have photos and pumpkins available for purchase in the Pumpkin Patch. A volunteer organization founded specifically to benefit The Children’s Hospital at Memorial University Medical Center, The Next Generation is a group of young professionals, parents, friends, and neighbors from throughout the greater Savannah area. They donate their talents, time, and financial support to the patients and families of The Children’s Hospital while promoting educational outreach and volunteer service, which fosters a positive healthcare experience for children and families. Hosting events such as the 4th Annual Barbeque, Brews & Bluegrass fundraiser is just one of the many ways they support this worthy cause. This year’s fundraiser looks to be a fun-filled event with loads of activities, great food, cold brews, and real down-home toe-tapping music. The event will be held at The Villa Marie Center, which is located at 6 Dolan Drive on Isle of Hope in Savannah. Tickets for adults are $20 in advance or $25 at the door, and all children age 12 and under get in for free. Advance tickets are available for purchase online.
