Midwest Engineering Systems Inc. Donates Over 870 Pounds of Food

Midwest Engineering Systems Inc. donated 873 pounds of food and over $500 to Feeding America Food Bank.
 
PEWAUKEE, Wis. - Oct. 9, 2013 - PRLog -- Midwest Engineering Systems Inc., an innovative provider of premier custom machines and integrated systems, has completed a month-long food drive to support Feeding America of Eastern Wisconsin.

The month of September was hunger action month at Feeding America of Eastern Wisconsin, a month dedicated to raising awareness about hunger relief across the nation through advocacy, volunteer work, events and donations.  Feeding America of Eastern Wisconsin provides food to nearly 800 non-profit programs in 9 counties in an effort to eliminate hunger in Wisconsin.

The employees at Midwest Engineering Systems donated 873 pounds of non-perishable food and raised over $500 for Feeding America Food Bank (100 pounds donated to the Fort Collins Chapter of the Denver Rescue Mission).  “We are proud of the success we had with our first food drive.” Said Jamie Aggen, Human Resource Generalist at Midwest Engineering Systems.  “The donations made will make a difference to the lives of many families in our area.”

This was the 1st Annual Food Drive at Midwest Engineering Systems Inc. to raise awareness for Hunger Relief and help improve the lives of people in need.  Midwest Engineering Systems is dedicated to community involvement and looks forward to serving in the future.
