Follow on Google News | Dotmatics’ Elemental Suite enhanced with the launch of Elemental DrawNew Chemical Drawing Software, Elemental Draw, runs on both Windows and Mac OS
Elemental Draw completes Dotmatics’ Elemental Suite of applications for sketching chemical entities. The suite includes the Elemental App for mobile devices, Elemental DB which enables scientists to search chemical structures within the freely available 1.2 million ChEMBL chemical dataset, and Elemental Plugin, designed for developers needing to add structured sketches to their applications. Elemental Draw enables scientists to draw, edit, save and print structures and reactions for publications or for querying and reporting. It also includes an extensive set of property calculators as well as comprehensive query features. Elemental Draw can be used as a standalone application or can be fully integrated within the solutions that make up the Dotmatics Platform. “We develop innovative technologies that increase scientists’ productivity. Elemental Draw’s intuitive interface and easily accessible functionalities are designed to optimize the time that chemists spend drawing structures and reactions as well as performing other desktop tasks,” said Dr. Mike Hartshorn, CSO at Dotmatics. “The release of Elemental Draw is a landmark on the Dotmatics roadmap; it completes our Elemental suite of drawing tools and adds another important component to the Dotmatics Platform.” About Dotmatics: At the forefront of innovation, Dotmatics is a leading global scientific informatics software and services provider, delivering solutions tailored to the modern, highly collaborative and mobile pharmaceutical, biotechnology and chemical industries as well as academia.
