Beacon Associates Awarded DOI OST Contract

BEL AIR, Md. - Oct. 7, 2013 - PRLog -- Beacon was recently awarded a contract to deliver a skills development and enhancement learning program to managers and supervisors at the Department of Interior, Office of the Special Trustee for American Indians (OST.)

Beacon’s Principal Consultant, Amy Murphy, will facilitate the Management Development Program, a five-month facilitated learning experience focused on increasing employee engagement and satisfaction. This program includes a Performance Experience, small group workshops, and coaching.

“We are truly excited about the opportunity to provide our individual, self-guided Performance Experiences to OST,” says Murphy. “Our Performance Experiences are self-led and allow employees to follow and incorporate the training activities into their everyday work. This helps participants apply the theory and concepts they’ve learned in the training to on-the-job application—and that is where you see results.”

Beacon has a variety of Performance Experiences covering a range of topics. Each Experience includes an explanation of the topic, activities to conduct on the job, action plans, and feedback to obtain from a direct supervisor.
