On Saturday, September 21st, 2013 Stanley will give a TED-style speech about the impact that Lovin’ Spoonfuls has had on New England and how to implement a similar model.

“I am honored to be a part of this experience and to meet so many other industry leaders working toward the same goal that we are,” said Ashley Stanley.

About TFF

Since its founding in 2011, Thought for Food has grown from a group of 20 people to a community of over 1,000 change makers from around the globe. Thought for Food is mobilizing a new generation of university students around the world to think about and find bold solutions to the biggest challenge facing our future – how to feed 9 billion people. From March until May 2013, talented students from top universities around the world took part in the annual Thought For Food Global Challenge, which is organized by Syngenta in cooperation with Sandbox and Ashoka Changemakers. Each university brought together a cross-disciplinary team representing a breadth of knowledge and experience. They dove into the deepest challenges surrounding food security and developed bold initiatives to educate and empower people to improve their food habits and build a healthier, more sustainable planet. From awareness campaigns and smartphone apps, to agriculture-themed reality shows and educational urban gardens, the ideas generated by all of the TFF student teams are not only grabbing people’s attention, they are helping to change the world.
