Advantech Introduces New Highly Versatile Automation Computers

CINCINNATI - Sept. 17, 2013 - PRLog -- Advantech introduces a new range of PC’s designed for the challenging requirements of the highway monitoring and machine automation industries. There are two entry level and two high end models. All four models have the same excellent and versatile configuration abilities, the difference being that the entry level models (UNO-3073 and UNO-3073GL) have Intel Celeron 1.1 MHz and 1.0 MHz processors whereas the high end (UNO-3083G and UNO-3085G) models have Intel Core i7 2.2 MHz processors.

Since the targeted industries have a diverse range of needs and use a wide range of additional cards, the UNO-3000G series has an extreme wide range of expansion slots. The 30x3 models have three PCI/PCIe expansion slots and the 30x5 models have five and all of these slots support high speed PCIe x16, x8, x4, and x1 cards and legacy PCI cards.

For security and added reliability, the UNO-3000G models have an intelligent BIOS and dual power input. The BIOS monitors the computer’s functions such as over/under voltage, power consumption, temperatures and RTC low voltage and, can be controlled remotely via AMT. The dual power input prevents the machine shutting down in the event of a power failure.

All models in the UNO-3000G series come with a wide range of communication interfaces and flexible expansion capabilities, including: two HDD and SSD drives for RAID 0/1 support; dual monitor capabilities with DVI and HDMI ports; two GbE LANs with teaming function with fault tolerance, link aggregation and load balancing; eight USB 2.0 ports, two CFast slots, and two RS-232/422/485 communication ports.

As well as their robust and reliable designs, the UNO-3000G series also support Windows® XP Embedded, Windows 2000/XP, Windows CE 6.0, and Linux OS allowing the users to choose from many different OS options.
