From Crisis Comes Opportunity LifeNet4Familes.org Job Readiness Program Home Depot Tool Donation

Raised in the south John grew up working in fields picking produce and tobacco as a child. He was later adopted by a relative who sent him to school.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Sept. 11, 2013 - PRLog -- After both parents died when he was 15 he began taking care of himself.

John had been in and out of trouble from the age of 15. The last time he had found himself in trouble he did 2 years and during that time he had time to think and realized that he was not getting any younger.

John has certifications for Plumbing, Certified Forklift Driver, Heavy Equipment Operator and a Skilled Roofer.

He came to LifeNet4Families looking for work. John later found steady work and was able to support his family again which restored his faith in himself. The only problem is, is that he needed tools and didn’t know where he was going to get them to continue working.

LifeNet4Families | Cooperative Feeding Program feeds hungry bodies, minds and souls - apart from hot meals, the children, women and men classes in life skills, they have access to job training, health clinics, haircuts, etc..

Everyone is welcomed here with the respect to which all people are entitled. Many of our clients have mental health issues or they are "working poor" - i.e., they have minimum wage employment but even then cannot make ends meet; or they are families affected by unemployment or corporate layoffs.
