Flagler Habitat for Humanity to commemorate National Day of Service and Remembrance

Flagler Habitat for Humanity will join fellow Habitat affiliates and hundreds of other organizations across the U.S. to commemorate the anniversary of the September 11 attacks through volunteer service.

PALM COAST, Fla. - Sept. 3, 2013 - PRLog -- – Flagler Habitat for Humanity will join fellow Habitat affiliates and hundreds of other organizations across the U.S. to commemorate the anniversary of the September 11 attacks through volunteer service.

All interested in in giving back to the community in honor of the events of  9/11 are invited to participate in Framing a Future at 14 Utrillo Place Palm Coast, FL 321674 onWednesday September 11, 2013 in two volunteer sessions:  8:00am – 12:00pm  or 1:00pm – 5:00pm

September 11th was designated a national day of service by the 2009 Kennedy Serve America Act. The Corporation for National and Community Service leads the annual event, working with MyGoodDeed and hundreds of nonprofit groups, faith-based organizations, and schools and businesses nationwide.
