By: Aviation Technologies, Inc. ATI’s mission is to become a progressive aviation service company that airports, airlines, and charters companies can rely on for arranging important services required for flights. These services include: TSA security screening (provided by sister company CheckTSA.com) ATI has been arranging fueling services, security service, gate allotments, slot permits, landing rights, ticket counter staffing, and a myriad of aviation services to many US and Foreign air carriers since its inception in 1999. In fact, because of its proprietary software; ATI was awarded a government contract to provide commuter air service between Manistee, Michigan and Chicago (Midway) creating a virtual connection to Southwest Airlines. These flights are provided by one of ATI’s affiliates: Publccharters.com. “Over the many years of aviation experience; we have learned NOT to get stuck on the things that we cannot do, but focus strongly on the services that we can!” stated Jim Gallagher president of Aviation Technologies, Inc. “ATI plans to work with the current airport board to facilitate growth in maintenance services, flight school training, and expand the current customer base at the airport by investing in a long term project to build a state of the art hangar facility to attract larger corporate aircraft operators to the region taking advantage of the new law that eliminates sales tax on aviation related labor services – making Pennsylvania competitive with its neighboring states.” "Aviation Technologies' proposal indicates a genuine concern for increasing local business, for expanded community involvement and proposed investment in the airport that exceeds all the other proposals," said Assistant Airport Director Michael Conner. "Aviation Technologies is also providing scheduled air services to communities under the Federal Aviation Essential Air Service Program. Their ability to provide and service scheduled air carriers could lead to increased air service at AVP to destinations we currently do not serve." End
