“A Consumer’s Guide to Foot and Ankle Pain”: Free Presentation September 9th at CMMC

 
LEWISTON, Maine - Aug. 29, 2013 - PRLog -- Orthopaedic surgeon James Timoney, M.D. and podiatrist Michael Saraydarian, D.P.M., F.A.C.F.A.S., will discuss options for treatment and prevention of common causes of foot and ankle pain and discomfort.

Dr. James Timoney is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine, with a special emphasis on foot and ankle surgery. He has experience in a broad spectrum of problems from sports injuries and occupational injuries to developmental and degenerative problems. Surgical and nonoperative modalities are used to optimize the return to function.

Dr. Saraydarian is a board-certified podiatrist who is devoted to progressive and modern surgical techniques for foot, hind foot, and ankle deformities in adult and pediatric patients. He specializes in Ilizarov techniques, and spatial fixation, and additionally treats the diabetic foot ranging from monitoring to reconstructive and preservative procedures to resolve ulceration. He joined Central Maine Orthopaedics in 2009.

Both Dr. Saraydarian and Dr. Timoney practice with Central Maine Orthopaedics (CMO) at 690 Minot Avenue in Auburn.

“A Consumer’s Guide to Foot and Ankle Pain” will be offered on September 9 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Chairmen’s Rooms on the lower level of the 12 High Street medical office building in Lewiston.

The presentation is being sponsored by the Orthopaedic Institute of Central Maine, a partnership of Central Maine Medical Center and Central Maine Orthopaedics.
