KwaliTools announces the launch of the KwaliDiary solution

HELSINKI - Aug. 29, 2013 - PRLog -- KwaliTools is proud to announce the launch for the KwaliDiary, as the latest addition to the KwaliStudio platform.

The KwaliDiary is KwaliTools's fortray into the online asynch qualitative research space.

The new KwaliDiary..

..enables researchers to engage with respondents in an asynchronous way, hence expanding the engagement opportunity from the traditional real-time interaction to include broader time windows encounters.

KwaliDiary as audio-video online diary

Our new add-on opens a wide range of methodological opportunities to gain insight on its own, and in combination with KwaliStudio online video focus groups.

Here are some of the functionalities we thought of:
Assign HomeWork for respondents that they can complete on their own then upload to the session
Create pre-assigned tasks to complete in the session
Create Video/Audio diary by using the respondents Webcam and Microphone
Have the async research run for days or even for weeks
No active, real-time facilitation is required, although it is also possible
Moderators can create the research- environment, -tools, -tasks, -rooms
Moderators can set start/end time/date to complete the tasks
The intelligent Recording shows only active parts of the session
Respondents can upload videos, images and execute tasks on the whiteboard

With other words, you can have your respondents compose an online video diary for extended periods, like days or weeks. As there is no active moderation required, qualitative data can be collected from a high number of respondents, to connect quantitative and qualitative data.

Creating a Diary session..

is easy and straightforward. Simply select the "Diary" - as section type and click save.
You have the option to add stimuli and to set the start / end date of the project. The KwaliTools App Manager (previously called Methodology Builder) will assist you adding any tasks, instructions or guides to the respondents.
