Helping communities understand aircraft noise

ROYSTON, U.K. - Aug. 22, 2013 - PRLog -- The website helps build an understanding of the real noise impact from airports, by using visual tools and metrics covering arrival/departure counts, runway usage, fleet mix, respite time and counts of significant aircraft noise. Charts, such as heat maps, offer a new way of presenting when aircraft are operating and supplementary noise metrics are a much easier way to explain noise impact.

WebTrak MyNeighbourhood works in conjunction with ANOMS airport noise monitoring system. It is delivered as a subscription based web service which operates automatically; requiring no day-to-day operation from the airport once set up.
