Author Joe Moore to Appear at Mr. K's Books

Aug. 22, 2013 - PRLog -- On Saturday September 14^th from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm, people will have an opportunity to meet Joe Moore, author of the Santa Claus Trilogy and get autographed copies of Faith, Hope & Reindeer and Believe Again, The North Pole Chronicles, as he joins his fellow authors from the Authors Guild of Tennessee for a special appearance.

Moore whose novel Faith, Hope & Reindeer is being made into a major motion picture said, “It is always a thrill for me when I can meet my readers face to face. I love hearing how my books have become a Christmas tradition with so many families.”

Moore's third book in the trilogy is entitled, Glaciers Melt & Mountains Smoke, is slated for release on January 17, 2014. The last in the trilogy deals with the melting of the North Pole and Santa having to move the entire village to a new location.

Mr. K's Used Books and CD's has five locations and is an extremely popular destination for bibliophiles, movie aficionados and audiophiles of all types. This event will take place at their Oak Ridge, Tennessee store located at 374 S. Illinois Avenue in Oak Ridge (865) 483-8659.

The Authors Guild of Tennessee is a group of independent authors working together to promote the books they have written, and to share their genres with readers of all tastes. The members of AGT sell and autograph their books at various venues. Moore is one of the more recent authors inducted into the AGT.

Moore, who is published through The North Pole Press, said about the Authors Guild, “I am extremely excited to be part of this group. They represent some wonderful authors and genres, and I believe my books add another layer of diversity to the works already offered by these fine wordsmiths.”

According to the Authors Guild of Tennessee, the reading experience is enhanced by getting to know authors personally and discuss details about their books that are not usually known. The author benefits from feedback with direct email links to stay involved with their readers.
