Galiara announces artist grant program

SAN FRANCISCO - Aug. 8, 2013 - PRLog -- SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA, USA (August 6, 2013) - Continuing its 10 year endeavor to promote and empower emerging artists, Galiara (www.galiara.com) announces a grants allocation for artists to help further their pursuits in the local and worldwide  through the Internet. Under this program, selected artists are given grants that are aimed at helping them procure resources and avail of facilities provided by Galiara and by other foundations.

 

Oftentimes artists need financial assistance to move forward for artwork creation and career growth, and we believe deserving artists can achieve their goals under the right environment and a grant designed for a similar objective.

 

Any member of Galiara can apply for a grant, and it is not necessary for a member to continue being a member of Galiara to be considered for the grant. An artist needs to be a member of Galiara at the time of the grant application and maintain the membership for a minimum of one month. An artist can fill a grant application upon registration and logging on to the website. We recommend that an artist populate his online gallery with artwork and a summary of his/her profile prior to filling the grant application.

For over 10 years - Galiara has sponsored Art Events and Artists in one of the most affluent intellectual areas of the world - San Francisco & the Silicon Valley, through its 4000 sq feet expansive art gallery and in partnership with a select group of corporate sponsors, philanthropists, foundations, nonprofits and private donors.  The goal is to empower selected artists with funds, technical expertise, endowments, grants, the prestige of showing in a major art city and above all - a personalized exposure through a comprehensive internet platform forworldwide artwork reach. Aside artists and art events, Galiara sponsorships include organizations - both commercial, non-profit and social events which have helped us further our cause of promoting artists' work by bringing concrete results for their talents.
