Garrette Custom Homes Honored with Building Excellence Award

PORTLAND, Ore. - Aug. 7, 2013 - PRLog -- The Building Industry Association (BIA) of Clark County announced Garrette Custom Homes has won one of the prestigious 2013 Building Excellence Awards for the best new home in the $500,000- $750,000 price category.  

The Building Excellence Awards honors contractors and designers in 13 categories. Winners were selected by a panel of industry professionals; projects were judged on innovation, unique qualities, quality craftsmanship and worksite safety.

Garrette was recognized for its “Cascade” plan.  Garrette has developed many popular one level floor plans and the Cascade plan has been one of its most popular.  The single-level plan features over 3,000 square feet on the main floor with an added 440 square foot bonus room above the garage. This home features a working office space off the entry way, a large formal dining space adjacent to the kitchen and great room, plus many custom features like a mudset walk-in shower.  Also unique is the bedroom layout with the  master suite separate from the other two bedrooms on opposite ends of the home.
