| IEEE-CS Introduces myComputer to Keep Up with Cutting-Edge TechnologyIEEE Computer Society, the community for technology leaders, has developed a new personalized information tool.
myComputer provides content choices. Users can select three subject areas from among 30 of today's hottest technology topics, including security and privacy, big data, cloud computing, Internet of Things, mobile, high-performance computing, application development, cybercrime, and more. Each month, IEEE Computer Society will search through its database of 13 leading-edge magazines and 200 conferences to deliver to users' inboxes the top peer-reviewed articles and papers in the three chosen subject areas. A list of top articles in the subject areas will be sent to users' inboxes for selection. myComputer lets users download 24 articles or papers per year, with an option to purchase up to a dozen additional articles. Each month, users will also receive the digital edition of Computer, "IEEE Computer Society recognizes that technology professionals have specialized interests, and limited time, and they want more control over what they choose to read," said Evan Butterfield, IEEE Computer Society Director of Products and Services.
