WRC Plans Workshops for Writers

The Writers Resource Center Plans mini-workshops to help authors who want to know more about everything from memoirs to children's books.
 
FAIRFIELD, Calif. - Aug. 5, 2013 - PRLog -- (Fairfield, CA) - The Writers Resource Center will hold several mini workshops for writers at its next meeting. Anyone interested in learning more about writing fiction, non-fiction, memoirs, and children's stories is invited to attend. There will also be a session on editing; one on how to choose the best title for a manuscript and one on book cover design. The meeting will take place on Saturday August 10, from 10 am to 12 pm at the Center's office located at 1652 West Texas, in Fairfield. The event is free for WRC members and $10 for non-members. Each workshop will be led by one of WRC's expert published writers, including the organization's founder Janie P. Bess.

"We are encouraged by the number of writers showing interest in the programs that WRC is offering," says Bess. "These workshops are going to be fun and packed with a lot of good information. We hope aspiring and experienced writers who want to know more, will come."
