Through partnerships such as The Jubilee Center for Excellence in Education and the Ministry of Education along with all educational entities and schools in the District we will reinforce our expansion approach leading to new beneficiaries and areas of intervention;
our partners played an instrumental role in organizing this initiative and we look forward to materializing actual projects that will be able to compete on a regional level”
.
From his end, Ismail Yasin, the Director of The Jubilee Center for Excellence in Education stated: “Educational Robotics is a highly dynamic applied science approach that enables students to develop their practical comprehension of scientific and mathematical concepts.
From our experience over the past years, we have seen a direct correlation between participating in the robotics program and improvement in educational performance in math, science, physics, chemistry and biology. Students in public schools, especially in areas outside city center particularly benefit from this lab as they generally lack well-equipped science laboratories and often go through their whole scholastic education without engaging in laboratory-based learning”
.
Mr. Rakez Al Khalayleh who is currently heading the research and studies department at the Ministry of Municipal Affairs, and is the coordinator of this project, talked about the importance of activating the developmental role of municipalities within all Districts in Jordan which will lead to better living conditions and is considered to be a pillar in community development.
Spearheading a number of ambitious socio-economic, cultural, educational, and food security projects and activities in the district, Nuqul Group’
s Robotics Lab Center is located in the urban area in Deir Abi Saeed, a multi – purpose facility owned by the municipality.
