Shweta Jhajharia Finalist For The Prestigious Bfa Awards
The British Franchise Association announces its finalists for the Female Franchisee of the Year
This year has seen an impressively high quality of applicants. The finalists reflect the high standards found in ethical franchising in the UK. They have demonstrated exceptional business practice, acting as outstanding ambassadors for their sectors, areas of expertise and for the specific award categories.
One of the four finalists for the Female Franchisee of the Year award is Shweta Jhajharia, ActionCOACH UK’s top business coach. This award is for the UK’s most accomplished female franchisee business owners that have been recognised for their drive and commitment to achieving fantastic results through best business practice and passion for their brand.
Brian Smart, Director General, bfa, said: “These finalists are from a range of sectors, championing their expertise and successes in many aspects of franchising. They have shown extraordinary levels of entrepreneurialism, commitment and drive which we were thrilled to hear about and which made this year’s selection process very challenging.”
Shweta Jhajharia said: “Despite more than 10,000 women led franchisees in the UK, I sincerely believe that there is a lot more that can be done to encourage more women taking up this more probable route to business success. BFA's recognition of Female Franchisees is a big step towards making women across the country more informed of the possibilities of running a successful franchise. ”.
About The British Franchise Association (bfa): The bfa is the voluntary self regulating governing body for franchising formed in 1977 by the major franchising organisations looking to accredit and promote those franchise systems that meet the strict ethical and business criteria of a good franchise.
