EBS convocation@ 88 students conferred PGDM at ERA Business School convocation

Era Business School (EBS) has awarded Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (http://www.mbauniverse.com/) to its 88 graduating students of 2011-13 batch at institute’s second annual convocation ceremony held recently in New Delhi. Dr. P. Rameshan, Director, Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Rohtak was the chief guest of the ceremony held at the institute’s campus in Dwarka on July 20, 2013.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sanjiv Marwah, Director, ERA Business School reiterated vision and mission of EBS, and constant efforts made by the institute to achieve the same. He said that business schools need to closely work with corporate world to get current industry insights on their curriculum and delivery. “The Era Business School has successfully collaborated with industry which has also resulted in overwhelming response for placement at the campus,” he said, adding, “Our differentiation of being a tech savvy campus has paid rich dividends. EBS has become the prime test center of NCR for all online management aptitude exams also.”

Dr. P. Rameshan, Director, Indian Institute of Management, Rohtak congratulated the passing out batch of the Era Business School and exhorted the budding managers to exhibit sincerity and commitment towards their profession and growth of organization which they work for in future. Addressing the graduating students, he said, “Your attitude and commitment are keys to your performance at job. You should continuously contribute to your organization’s growth or else you will become irrelevant and may be not required.”

He said that the key characteristics for achieving a successful career in the corporate world include right attitude, proper value system, social commitment and contribution to the society.

An oath taking ceremony was also held on the occasion wherein all the passing out graduates from ERA Business School pledged to work towards social responsibilities & greater sense of brotherhood through their respective jobs.  Meritorious students were also awarded medals for their outstanding performance during the ceremony.
