EFK Fire Dragon introduces the 1911 Pistol Compensator

July 26, 2013 - PRLog -- Bushing replacement compensators are available for the 1911 pistol for both government and commander models.  EFK FIre Dragon offers the compensators in a variety of finishes including black Matte, Matte, polished Matte, and polished stainless steel.  The compensator features a three port design with dual chambers that significantly reduce the felt recoil and muzzle flip.  It will need only a minor fitting adjustment, which means it requires no gunsmithing to fit on the 1911 pistol.  Also, the compensator adds nearly an inch to the gun’s length.

A compensator is a handy attachment as it reduces the recoil of the gun when discharged.  Incredibly useful when firing in quick succession, the compensator shortens the movement of the firearm (upward) when the slide kicks back to release a casing.  The affect is a significant increase to the guns accuracy during quick, succeeding shots.
