13th Annual Land & Lake Poker Run

LACONIA, N.H. - July 18, 2013 - PRLog -- 13^th Annual Land & Lake Poker Run

The NASWA Resort hosts Easter Seals of NH Land & Lake event and afterparty.

Laconia, N.H. – The NASWA Resort will host the 13^th Annual HK Powersports Land & Lake Poker Run for Easter Seals NH on Saturday, July 20^th. Dedicated to the memory of Peter Makris, patriarch of the resort and an avid motorcyclist and boater, this fundraiser is a favorite event in the area that has raised more than $700,000 for the Easter Seals of New Hampshire since it started in 2000.

Travel by land or lake to have fun and win prizes while raising money for the Easter Seals of NH. Participants traveling by car or boat will stop at four checkpoints to pick up poker cards in sealed envelopes; players will need to go to all four stops in order to build their hand, with The NASWA Resort being the fifth and final stop for all players. The NASWA will be hosting the party for all the participants after the end of the run with live music starting at 1pm with DJ Terry. The “World Famous” NazBar & Grill will be holding fun competitions such as The Sammy Shuffle (water musical chairs), Corona Tube Race (team innertube race) and The NAZ Serve Relay (don’t spill the drinks!).

Registration for the 13th Annual HK Powersports Land & Lake Poker Run for Easter Seals NH begins at 9am at all checkpoints, and the event begins at 10:30am. Registration is $45 ($50 on the day of the event) and includes one event shirt, one buffet pass, one poker hand and one raffle ticket. Online registration will close Thursday, July 18^th at midnight, but participants can register in-person at any of the checkpoints on Saturday. 1:00-3:00pm          Event party and buffet at NASWA

2:00pm          Deadline for turning in chips and hands dealt

3:00pm          Stage program and Awards. Best Poker Hands

4:00pm          Grand Prize Raffle drawing
