The report is developed in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI Guidelines), and achieved a self-declared “A+” disclosure level, which is considered the highest level of transparency within the GRI framework.

Nuqul Group established a stakeholder council to review and provide advice on the content and quality of the report and provide recommendations on future sustainability direction of the Group. The CEO of Nuqul Group, Salim Karadsheh stated: “This report marks our fifth year for disclosing our sustainability performance, and celebrates our renewed commitment to the UN Global Compact with its ten principles. Our sustainability strategy aims to address all key sustainability challenges that face our business from natural resource availability to sustainable human resources management practices, and we always strive to maximize the sustainability value for our business and all our stakeholders.”

“Nuqul Group adopted the principles of sustainable development in 2007 when the Group became signatory to the UN global Compact and its ten principles. Since then, Nuqul Group has made every effort to integrate sustainability into its business approach. In 2012 we were able to reduce the environmental impact for some of our products, and in 2013 we look to continue our commitment towards sustainable development in all aspects of our operations.” Dr. Tareq Abu Ghazaleh, Director of Operations Support commented.
