Amiga Games Inc a Newly Acquired Company of Writers’ Group Film Corp. Announces Distribution throu

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - July 15, 2013 - PRLog -- LOS ANGELES — Writers’ Group Film Corp.  and its wholly-owned subsidiary Amiga Games, Inc. (AGI) a videogame publisher of classic games for a wide range of smartphones and mobile devices, today announced distribution for its library of titles in South Korea, through the SK Planet T Store. SK Planet was established in October 2011 as a wholly owned subsidiary of SK Telecom Co. Ltd. , South Korea’s largest wireless telecommunications service provider. The distribution arrangement will bring AGI’s classic games library to the lucrative Korean smartphone marketplace.  Amiga Games plans to have a substantial number of its titles available through SK Planet T Store for the 2013 holiday season.

“We are honored and excited to be given access to the Korean market, the world’s most advanced wireless phone market via the SK Planet T Store,” said Eric Mitchell, CEO of Writers’ Group Film Corp. “We look forward to introducing AGI’s retro gaming titles to the Korean market during the upcoming winter holiday season.” Launched in September of 2009 by SK Telecom Co. Ltd., the SK Planet T Store is the first and the largest mobile content market in Korea. As of December 31, 2012, SK Telecom had approximately 27 million wireless subscribers and revenues of approximately $1.3 billion USD.

On July 8, 2013 Amiga Games Inc. announced that it had entered into an agreement to be acquired by Writers’ Group Film Corp.  a Los Angeles-based content distribution company.
