Each K&N Blackhawk air intake design has undergone rigorous testing and the resulting power and torque gains have been impressive. Made in Riverside, CA Blackhawk induction systems start with lightweight aluminum tubing that is cut and shaped to precise specifications. The aluminum tube surface is then carefully worked to remove any rough edges or metal burs and a K&N engraved metal plate is welded in to place. Finally, the Blackhawk intake tubes are powder coated with a durable flat black finish. All Blackhawk air intakes use a Black Dryflow Synthetic Washable Air Filter with thick low restriction filter media that protects the engine without the need of oil. Like other K&N products, the Blackhawk air intake is easy to install using common tools and existing factory mounting points when possible and comes equipped with all the hardware necessary for installation.
