Operated by Metrolink RATP DEV Ltd with GOAL SYSTEMS technology

MANCHESTER, U.K. - July 9, 2013 - PRLog -- Since late May, Metrolink, operated by the RATP -Dev is working with shifts generated by GOAL SYSTEMS. This is a large project, which will result, in a short term, the use of GoalRail®metro for schedules generation and GoalStaff® for assignment of personnel.

Manchester's tram has 7 lines, with a total length of 73 kilometers, offering a complete transportation service to the city.This project consolidates a sum of achievements carried out by our company such as Metro d'Alger, Casatram and Gautrain, among others.

Since the beginning of the project, simulations are conducted in which we have reached an important optimization on working hours to cover the same commercial offer. The challenge of this project was marked by the balancing between the need for more efficiency and less costly operation while maintaining the right working conditions of drivers, without affecting the working conditions established.
