The MN 811 Run – Your Guaranteed Personal Best

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - June 27, 2013 - PRLog -- The 811 Run is an 8.11K race aimed at getting exposure and spreading the awareness of the federally-mandated, national “Call Before You Dig” number, created to help protect people from hitting underground utility pipelines and cables while digging.

The run will be held in beautiful Mount Normandale Lake Park in Bloomington, MN on August 11^th, 2013 at 8:11AM and is limited to the first 1,000 participants.

Prizes will be given out to both participants and spectators wearing 811 shirts, hats, pins or anything with 811 on it.  There will be damage prevention give-a-ways and an awards ceremony following the race.  This event is a great way to network and participate in a public awareness event for 811, but it can also double as a health and wellness event for companies to use for their employees.  

Following the run, a Safety Day event will take place where 811 Run sponsors will provide give-a-ways, live safety demonstrations, and prizes for those wearing 811.
